The Constraints on CP Violating Phases in models with a dynamical gluino phase
نویسنده
چکیده
We have analyzed the electric dipole moment and the Higgs mass constraints on the supersymmetric model which offers dynamical solutions to the μ and strong CP problems. The trilinear coupling phases, and tanβ − |μ| are strongly correlated, particularly in the low-tan β regime. Certain values of the phases of the trilinear couplings are forbidden, whereas the CP violating phase from the chargino sector is imprisoned to lie near a CP conserving point, by the Higgs mass and electric dipole moment constraints.

Very light sbottom and gluino scenario confronting electroweak precision tests
The minimal supersymmetric model with light sbottom (∼ mb) and light gluino (12 ∼ 16 GeV) can explain the excess of bottom quark production cross section at hadron colliders and has drawn much attention. We calculate one-loop contribution to Z-pole observable Rb in this scenario when large CP violating phases are allowed in the gluino mass and/or sbottom sector. We show that these large CP viol...

Supersymmetric CP violating phases are examined within the framework of gravity mediated supergravity grand unified models with R parity invariance for models with a light (< ∼ 1 TeV) particle spectrum. In the minimal model, the nearness of the t quark Landau pole naturally suppresses the t-quark cubic soft breaking parameter at the electroweak scale allowing the electron and neutron experiment...
متن کاملFlavour changing neutral currents and CP violating processes in generalized supersymmetric theories
We consider supersymmetric extensions of the standard model with general non-universal soft breaking terms. We analyse in a model-independent way the constraints on these terms at the electroweak energy scale coming from gluino mediated flavour (F) changing neutral current and CP-violating processes. We have computed the complete ∆F = 1 and ∆F = 2 effective hamiltonian for gluino mediated proce...
متن کامل-Violating Phases in the MSSM
The Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) contains several new sources for CP violation not present in the Standard Model, and it is well known [1–3] that these phases can produce large SUSY contributions to the electric dipole moments (EDM’s) of the neutron and electron. The common generic description is that these contributions will exceed the current experiment limits on the neutron a...
متن کاملSupersymmetry and a rationale for small CP violating phases
We analyse the CP problem in the context of a supersymmetric extension of the standard model with universal strength of Yukawa couplings. A salient feature of these models is that the CP phases are constrained to be very small by the hierarchy of the quark masses, and the pattern of CKM mixing angles. This leads to a small amount of CP violation from the usual KM mechanism and a significant con...
